Elisa shared through Twitter that she fell in love with Patrick immediately after he started singing.
They were caught by paparazzi for the first time in 2007. Elisa and Patrick confirmed that they were dating, and then attended various public events together.
On September 29, 2012, in Chicago, Illinois, Elisa Yao married Patrick Stump. In September 2014, Patrick announced that Elisa was pregnant with their first child.[4] On October 13, 2014, Ellen DeGeneres announced that Elisa had given birth to Declan Stump through Twitter.[5] In 2016, Patrick attended Glenbrook South High School's graduation ceremony, where they honored him as a distinguished alumni, as he had graduated from the school in 2002.[6][7] At this event, Stump announced that Elisa was pregnant with their second child. In December 2016, Elisa gave birth to Antero Stump.
